Helen Thomas has called for all Israeli’s to leave Palestine and go back to wherever they came from (Poland, Germany, and the United States were some of her suggestions).
That’s so cute, she calls Israel Palestine.
I thought the Jews came from Israel. Wouldn’t that be a very long and exhaustive trip if they had to retrace their travels from Israel back to Israel?
Please don’t fire Helen or take away her press credentials. Oops, she retired before anyone else could fire her.
I wanted to know where Helen Thomas and all of the progressive racist’s cockroaches were at all times. But she is gone. My hope was that she would keep her front row seat as a reminder of who these progressives are and what they believe. Oh, and remember (way back around 1910) that the first wave of modern progressives were the ones who came up with eugenics.
Eugenics is the study of or belief in the possibility of improving the qualities of the human species or a human population, especially by such means as discouraging reproduction by persons having genetic defects or presumed to have inheritable undesirable traits (negative eugenics) or encouraging reproduction by persons presumed to have inheritable desirable traits (positive eugenics).
Hitler liked this idea so much he used it to eliminate the Jews and improve the “Master” Aryan race.
Helen was just asking them to go back to where the extermination of the Jews began. They shouldn’t have had problem with that. Helen is pretty old so she really should remember the Holocaust. Seems to me that she should be very much against another holocaust unless she was for it in the first place.
According to anthropologists, if we all went back to where we came from the entire population of our planet would reside on the African continent. All extra terrestrial lifeforms would be exempt from this of course. People of Earth, you know who you are, go back to Africa where you all belong.
- She has since apologized for the remarks, saying they did not properly reflect her position on the conflict of the Middle East.
- Helen Thomas announced Monday that “she is retiring, effective immediately,” according to a statement from Hearst newspapers.
- Her decision comes after her controversial remarks about Israel hit the blogosphere. She later apologized for her comments, saying she “deeply regretted” making them.
White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) President Ed Chen criticized her in a statement Monday.
“Helen Thomas’ comments were indefensible and the White House Correspondents Association board firmly dissociates itself from them. Many in our profession who have known Helen for years were saddened by the comments, which were especially unfortunate in light of her role as a trail blazer on the White House beat,” he said.
Funny, I didn’t hear her stutter a bit when she made her views of Israel and Israeli’s known. I’m guessing that she apologized for offending so many people and not for the content of what she said. I thought that liberals/progressives were the ones who were politically correct. Maybe wearing that label is in reality an all day pass to bigotry.
